So, you already have your totally awesome costume picked out, but is it completely ready for a night of scariness and silliness? We’ve come up with a list of stores where you can find make up, hair accessories, blood, and everything else that can take your store bought costume to the next level.

Check out Walgreens in Center City for all your hair and makeup needs. They have a variety of temporary hair dyes, wigs, bloody make up and anything else you need to transform yourself at a great price. They even have some last minute costume props, which can be hard to find if you’re not near a costume store or Target. The easiest and cheapest way to get there would be the Drexel shuttle; Walgreens is at 16th & JFK.

Five Below at 16th and Walnut has some great and cheap make up options. You really don’t need department store quality blush if you’re only using the color for one night. Whether you need some ghoulishly black nail polish or the whitest face powder in the aisle, Five Below can hook you up. They also have some great decorations and candy for improving your already stellar Halloween fete.

CVS at 34th and Walnut is the best place for candy, food and all those other last minute things! It’s got some great prices (especially if you have a card for their rewards program), and it’s close to campus so you don’t have to worry about hauling all those Kit Kats and Snickers an extremely long way. You’d be surprised how much Halloween stuff they actually have. CVS is the go to place for anything you might need for a Halloween party and everything you’ll need afterwards.

Plaza Art, right on campus at 32nd and Chestnut, has the things you need to personalize your Halloween costume. You can easily take any cute costume and give it a dark side with this splattered red paint as blood. Who says adorable nerds can’t have a little blood running down their face and shirt? Check out their face paint too! That can really come in handy when you’re trying to sell something like a black & white movie star costume.

The last place to check out for Halloween stuff is the Toviah Thrift Shop at 4211 Walnut Street. If you don’t have a costume and don’t want to spend mucho money on something you know might not survive the weekend, thrift shops are the stores to visit. You can find some really cool and quirky things there and you won’t spend a fortune. Heck while you’re there pick out two or three costumes! The more the scarier, right?
