Some girls move in with their boyfriends, others move in with their best friends. But let’s be real: who’s a more perfect roommate than your BFF anyway? You know everything about each other and boundaries basically don’t exist. You can’t imagine living with anyone else for the rest of your life. 1. All text conversations with guys are a team effort.
2. Advice is always available (even when not solicited).
3. You stay up until 4 a.m. just because time flies when your having fun …
… Or having a deep heart to heart that involves many a tear and boxes of Kleenex.
4. Any and all music leads to a (sometimes hilariously spastic) dance party.
5. You have a live-in personal trainer and motivational speaker.
6. Netflix marathons often lead to shameless cuddles and never leaving your room.
7. You set a time to leave, but never leave on time.
*Tries every possible outfit combination in both of your closets* “How about this?”
8. You share everything. Yes, even shoes!
Asking permission isn’t a thing and you often forget who owns what.
9. You live to constantly bring up embarrassing party fouls just for the fun of it.
“Remember that time you ____?” “Shut up.”
10. You know EVERYTHING about each other and love each other anyway.
11. Your BFF is like the sister you never had (or sometimes wish you could replace).
12. Your room is a 24-hour laugh factory.
Whether you’re laughing at them or with them, someone is always giggling.
13. Living with your bestie feels like a sleepover that never ends.
Your BFF is there through it all, in sickness and in health ‘til death do you part—let’s face it, you basically are a married couple. Whether you need a laugh, a hug, or a shirt to borrow, your roomie has your back. Life is short and college is even shorter, so go give your roommate a hug.
