Holiday season is approaching rapidly—Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza you name it. The wintertime is full of reasons to give gifts to your loved ones. As you know, Drexel is different, so the gifts you give us students should be no exception. For the spirited
You knew this one was coming. The Drexel Christmas sweater is a campus phenomenon—those who don’t have them, want them (even if they don’t want to admit it). For the foodie
Eating out in college is a blessing and a curse. It’s a change of pace from the cereal-Ramen-Hans diet that us broke college students are accustomed to, but it’s also heartbreaking to part with the last $10 bill left in our wallets. It’s a well known fact that ramen is the bread and butter for the starving college student. This is especially the case for us Dragons, who are very busy and barely have time to breathe. Sabrina’s Café is our guilty pleasure. No matter what day of the week or what time of the day, the line for Drexel’s most treasured restaurant is always out the door! There’s never less than a half hour wait for the beloved stuffed challah French toast. Even if they’ll still be waiting, you can make it worth the wait for your Dragon by picking up the tab with a Sabrina’s gift card!
You may have seen this awesome new cooking trend in videos on your Facebook timeline. Drexel’s quarter system is no joke. We pull all-nighters. We pull our hair out. And when the exhaustion sets in, we drink coffee to combat three nights without sleep. This Mr. Coffee Programmable Coffeemaker will help us have our coffee right when we need it. This contraption acts almost like an alarm clock, you can load it the night before and set the timer for a few minutes before your alarm is supposed to go off. Now that’s a great way to wake up and smell the coffee!
