Getting into a new TV show is always a crazy adventure. With such easy access to shows on Netflix and Hulu, it has become way less complicated to binge-watch something new at any time. If you have a subscription to a streaming service, then you’ve definitely gone through at least one of these 12 stages while discovering a new series.

1. Your friend convinces you to watch their latest addiction

2. You start the first episode hoping it’ll live up to the hype

3. You check the time and realize you should’ve gone to bed three hours ago

4. But, you only have one more episode in the season so you decide one more won’t hurt

5. You start getting emotionally attached to the characters

6. And then you register the fact that you haven’t had any human contact in two days

7. Your friends start to worry about your mental health

8. You try to convince them you’re okay

9. But, you’re really not because you’ve almost finished every season on Netflix/Hulu

10. And you know everything is coming to an end

11. When it’s over you can’t remember how to function like a normal person

12. Until you find a new TV show and start all over again

She practically lives on the second floor of Hagerty, but when she's not there you can find her sleep-walking to her 8 AM microbiology labs or spending all her dining dollars at Vegetate. She enjoys writing in her spare time, binge-watching Netflix, and catching up on the 50 different TV shows she currently watches.
