I am constantly listening to music. Whether it’s walking to class, making dinner, or while I’m exercising, I always have music playing. I think it’s amazing that there is always a song that matches my mood. I love playing music in my car or in my apartment and being able to sing along (even if I don’t always know the lyrics). Here are the five artists I currently have on repeat.
Maggie Rogers
I fell in love with Maggie Rogers last fall when she appeared on SNL. Earlier this year she released her debut album and I still have it on repeat weeks later. I think Maggie’s music is super energetic and I feel empowered when I listen to it.

Romeo Loves Juliet
When I write papers, I like to listen to instrumental music. It’s nice to have on in the background and the lack of lyrics doesn’t distract me from the words I’m typing. This semester I’m writing a thesis, so I constantly have Romeo Loves Juliet playing. This band plays acoustic covers of popular songs and I find it really relaxing.

The Oh Hellos
I find the Oh Hellos to be really calming and I just like their vibe a lot. I discovered them through a Spotify playlist and I haven’t been able to stop listening to them since. This band consists of siblings Tyler and Maggie Heath.

Caamp
I would describe Caamp’s music as a mix between folk and indie, which coincidentally are two of my favorite music genres. Caamp has a lot of upbeat songs that are really fun to play when you’re driving around on a nice day. Whenever I listen to their music, I always end up in a happy mood.
My favorite song: Vagabond
John Mayer
I love John Mayer. So much so that I once saw him in concert and four days later went to another show just because I loved him so much. Plus, I currently have tickets to go see him for a third time in August (super excited for this!). I think I could listen to John Mayer at any time of day because his music is just something that resonates with me at all times. I love listening to his work and I will always be a fan.
