Life at college is vastly different from life at home. Adjusting can be hard, but sometimes it’s the little things – like apps – that can make campus life so much easier. These five apps are must-haves for any college student!

1. Venmo

Venmo makes it easier to send and receive money from your friends. Gone are the days when that one flaky friend can slide by without paying you back for dinner. Venmo transfers money from your bank account to your friend’s account. If your friends forget to pay you back, you can request the money over the app and they will receive a reminder email. Venmo is one of the handiest apps that you can have on your phone as a student.

2. Google Docs

Time management is key to succeeding in college, and Google Docs can help with that. The app is easy and convenient to use; it allows you to edit a paper while you walk to class, or work on a study guide while you’re waiting in line for food. You can also invite others to edit your documents, which is perfect for group projects. Google Docs automatically saves all your work, so you’ll never accidentally lose all your progress – a collegiette’s nightmare!

3. Spotify

College students can get Spotify premium at a discounted price. Spotify is essential for creating a perfect playlist. The app also has pre-made playlists for every occasion imaginable. Almost every song you can think of is at your disposal — including calming study music, audiobooks, guided meditations and more. You can also add your friends on Spotify to follow their playlists and see what they are listening to.

4. Domino’s

The only thing better than pizza is late-night pizza. Pizza is a necessity for all-nighters, so make sure that you have the Domino’s app on your phone! The app lets you save your address, place your order, and store credit card information so you can have some ooey, gooey goodness delivered to you at the press of a button. Domino’s also allows you to earn rewards so you can eventually get a free pizza – every college student’s dream!

5. GroupMe

There is nothing worse than an annoying group chat. GroupMe allows users to organize all of their group chats, while having more fun features that normal group chats don’t have. It’s perfect for large chats for sports teams, class projects, clubs, sororities, etc. The best part? You can turn off your notifications! Never again will you have to deal with annoying text notifications and the struggle of figuring out whose numbers belong to whom.

Sure, these apps might not solve all of the problems that you face in college, but even the little apps can make a big difference.
