Spring Break is almost upon us! Now is the time to plan with your friends and family the perfect vacation for a mix of fun and relaxation after midterm exams, or even after finals if you decide to go for the summer. Here are some places that I’ve visited myself, or have all intentions of visiting soon. Every place has its own culture and city life so experiencing this will be different for the whole trip.
- Miami, Florida
There are a ton of spots to visit in Miami. South Beach, Ocean Drive, and the Bayside Marketplace are the main attractions when it comes to vacationing in Miami. The warm ocean air and the sandy beaches will be a total escape from that boring chemistry test and will have you relaxed and ready to take on anything. My suggestion for some activities would be to visit the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens for a tour of the beautiful villa, or to the Miami Seaquarium to swim with dolphins!
- San Francisco, California
This is a beautiful location that offers something for everyone. California is the Golden State and we can attribute that to a good time! The city life is alive at night, and during the day you can head to some of the most famous landmarks in the United States. One landmark being the Golden Gate Bridge that was built in 1937. If you’re into crime and mystery like me, then Alcatraz Island, the home of the notorious prison, is the place for you.
- Bali, Indonesia
If your more on the adventurous side and want to get out of the country and experience a whole new culture, Bali is the perfect getaway. This beautiful location is referred to as the Island of the Gods and is nothing short. In this case, relaxing at a beautiful resort will be enough to get your mind away from the troubles of being a college student. However, if you want to see everything Bali has to offer, then you can take a look at the Bali Zoo, go crazy on some river rafts, race your friends on some ATVs or even take a dive with scuba diving! The adventure is all yours!
