My Favorite Biopic Movies

I’ve always had a love for biopic movies. Watching these movies allows me to get a glimpse into some of my favorite actors, musicians, activist and more. Today I will give you a list of some of my top biopics. These movies allow you to go through the ups and downs that these people have gone through. I hope your ready to go back in time to get a glimpse of the lives of some of the most impactful people in history.
- Ray
Ray tells the story of famous Jazz singer Ray Charles. The movies show the highs and lows of his career. The movie gives information many never knew about.
- Why Do Fools Fall in Love
This movie shows us the life of Tina Turner and how she met her husband and band leader Ike Turner. While hearing some of her most famous songs, we also see the domestic violence she had to endure throughout her marriage with Ike Turner.
- Selena
Selena tells the story of famous Tejano music star Selena Quintanilla- Perez and her rise to fame and death at a young age. The movie shows how hard it was for her to break into the industry and her love life.
- Cadillac Records
Cadillac Records tells the story of the rise and fall of Chess Records, who launched the careers of Muddy Waters, Etta James, and Chuck Berry.
- Lady Sings the Blues
This biopic tells the story of legendary singer Billie Holiday. This movie shows the rise and fall of the famous singer.The movies shows all the pain and suffering Ms. Holiday endured throughout her life.
