A little over a week ago, NBA Legend Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant lost their lives in a tragic helicopter accident. This week I learned about how Kobe touched the lives of many other athletes, not just basketball players. Kobe also had a big impact on this generation and also me. As a girl who grew up watching the Lakers with my dad, this is one passing that will have a huge impact. Being a student in the classroom and hearing “Kobe” when someone throws a ball in the trash. His death will affect the whole world, but I’m so happy that I was able to witness his greatness. In this moment of tragedy, I will continue to look at all the great things he was able to accomplish. This tragedy taught me an Important lesson about how tomorrow is not promised, so we better make each day count.
