How to improve test scores

College is very stressful, trying to balance school, internships, and a social life. Some of us may not be the best test takers, or may not have the time to study for a long period of time during the day, so here are some tips that will help you improve test scores.

  • Review material from lectures within 48 hours. By reviewing for as little as 15 minutes within 48 hours of the lecture you are more likely to recall and remember the information.

  • Don’t wait until the day before the exam to study

Take time to study a little information each day up until your exam.

  • Don’t pull an all nighter

By pulling an all nighter you’re more likely to forget what you reviewed anyway, so get the right amount of sleep the night before the test.

  • Take advantage of study groups, tutoring, and professors office hours

Use your resources, most are FREE so why not take advantage !
