He’s the One! – Ten Tips to Knowing if He’s the Man for You

This list consists of things I’ve learned on my own. Having my fair share of bad relationships led me to know what to look for in someone I should be in a relationship with; and it’s helped me a lot so maybe it can help you!

1. He always wants to spend time with you… and not just hook up
   • A guy that likes you will do anything in his power to have you around. Even if it’s just a small get together or an intimate setting, he loves being around you girl!
2. He does things for you without a problem
   • If you feel like you have to pull teeth for your man to do the simplest thing… it may be a problem. The right guy will spare no expense or waste no time to do things or you; but watch out for a guy who tries to buy your love… his intentions may not be pure.
3. He always tells you how he feels about you
   • The right guy will never leave you in the dark! He often tells you what he loves about you, or what attracted him to you or how he’s lucky to have you. He knows he has a diamond and isn’t dropping it!
4. You don’t have to worry about anything he’s doing- He’s non-secretive
   • Mr. Right will tell you everything! You’re basically his second in command or his best friend and will tell you everything going on in his life. You don’t feel the need to go snooping on his phone or worry about him with other girls.
5. He plans for a future with you
   • No short-term plans here! He often talks about the future and makes plans with you for the future. Whether it be 6 months, a year, 5 years or 10 years he knows he wants you in his life for the long run and is putting the future together with you in his life.
6. His family knows all about you
   • A guy who genuinely wants to be with you, will always tell his family about you. His family is not in the dark about you and know the quality of your relationship sometimes way before you meet them.
7. He wants to know everything about you
   • Your favor color, your birthday, embarrassing moments, your life story, he wants to know it all; and remembers what you say. Everything isn’t all about him all the time
8. He takes you out
   • “Netflix & Chill” is not the only activity he wants to partake in. He plans dates, wants to spend time with you doing things you both enjoy. He has no problem going out in public with you
9. He wants the best for you
   • He doesn’t let you slack on school work or tells you right from wrong. He wants to see you doing your very best and wants to contribute in any way he can
10.  He lets you be yourself
