Freshman Receive Ipads

Everyone has heard about a rumor going around Delaware State University that the Freshman class has received IPads?  Well to sum up the rumors it is TRUE!

What does this mean for the Upperclassmen?

There is no set deadline, but upperclassmen will hopefully receive their ipads by next semester. With many upset about this since they have attended the college longer and earned their stripes.  Therefore with the school budget and while they observe the experiment then we should wait until the time comes.

What does this mean for Delaware State University?

I had recently spoken to the man in charge and he believes they are a great set of guinea pigs for this experiment.  They receive the ipads as part of their tuition and it is supposed to make the school more digitized. The ipads are supposed to encourage advancing technology along with students being able to project their assignments on a tv screen with a click of their pen.  This means the computer labs will soon disappear and Delaware State University will turn digital. Students hopefully will not have to carry around their textbooks, but instead downloaded them to their ipads or just buy e-books.

How did they determine the freshman for the experiment?

The freshman get to be the guinea pigs for the experiment, because they were the largest classification on campus and they still have four more years.  They are excited to see the advancement and think it will be very helpful in classes.
