New research indicates that women are currently paid 80% of what men are paid here in America.
We’ve all heard and read about the infamous gender pay gap. We’ve questioned whether or not this gap really exists or if it’s just an excuse for laziness, but here lies the truth. Here are five jobs that pay woman less than men.

For every dollar that a male makes as a chef, a woman is paid 72 cents.
2. Dentist
For every dollar than a male makes as a dentist a woman makes 72 cents.
3. Pharmacist
For every dollar that a male makes as a pharmacist, a woman makes 78 cents.
4. Physician
For every dollar that a male makes as a physician, a woman makes 82 cents.
5. Pilot
For every dollar that a male makes as a pilot, a woman is paid 84 cents.
