Holiday season is upon us and that means one thing if you’re in a relationship: gifts. You’re either creating a list of things you want or you’re stuck trying to figure out what to buy your boo for the holidays. So if you’re like me and want to give your significant other a meaningful gift while also being on a budget, here are three things you can try:
- Create a memory box. You can print pictures and put those and things that remind you of them into a little box and write a cute note to go with each thing or picture. It’s like taking a trip down memory lane.
- Give them a personalized “survival kit”. Just a kit that they might be able to use in their daily life. For example, my boyfriend is an athlete, so I might put earplugs, snacks, Gatorade, and a travel charger in a box for him for away games.
- Have a paint and sip night in. Just grab some paint and paint brushes and some wine (or sparkling juice if you’re underage) and channel your inner Bob Ross.
At the end of the day, it’s not the cost of the gift that matters. The gift should just be meaningful.
