There are powerful women all over the world. This week take a minute to recognize all the amazing women around you! Here are a few to get you thinking of all the possibilities.

Muzoon Almellehan

Almellehan is a Syrian refugee who is advocating for girls’ education in refugee camps. Her favorite saying is “we are the future.” Her activism and drive to promote education and raise awareness about childhood marriage earned her the nickname “Syrian Malala.”

Emma Watson

“If not me, who? If not now, when?” Watson said these words in her address at the UN Headquarters. Her passion for women’s equality can be an inspiration to us all!

Simone Biles

I think we all watched Biles do what seemed like the impossible this summer! She is the first African American gymnast to win an all-around World title. She is now the most decorated female gymnast since Shannon Miller. Go Simone!

Anne McClain, Nicole Aunapu Mann, Christina Hammock Koch and Jessica Meir

These four are out of this world! They are training to be the first NASA astronauts to walk on Mars. They are apart of the first equal gender split in NASA history.
