We have all experienced popular clothing trends throughout our lives; the fashion industry itself survives off trends. Every season all major brands, magazines and designers attempts to create “the look” that everyone will be dying to follow. But is there a proper way to follow these must have trends? Are we losing our own sense of personal style because we are following each popular outfit from head to toe? Instead of copying and pasting outfits straight off the rack, here are a few tips to help you develop your own elements of personal style.

The most recent trend of the fall is the classic mix of 90’s fashion and Athleisure. All around us we are seeing bomber jackets, chokers and of course, the classic Adidas Superstar Shoes. Adidas sold over 15 million pairs of superstars in 2015 alone, so you could say they are pretty popular. But to properly take advantage of trends, try taking each item and individually personalizing them to your own sense of fashion.
