Things to Do When You’re Bored in the Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at DePauw chapter.

Autumn is upon us and being a college student is stressful. Here are 6 fun things to do this fall to relax after a busy week!

1)  Football Games- Show your school spirit, bundle up and head to a game. You’re sure to meet new people and expand your horizons.

2)  Apple/pumpkin patches- Get some apple cider, pick some pumpkins! The fall spirit doesn’t have to end at Halloween; you can still keep up the fall aesthetics with some table decorations.

3)  Go for a hike- Get active! Move around and get out in nature. My favorite thing is to crunch through the leaves and hang out with friends.

4)  Have a photoshoot- The colors of the fall leaves and all the cute sweaters you can wear will make for perfect memories with your best friends.

5)  Movies and munchies- Watch a Disney movie or put on a horror film and make some puppy chow. A nice study break can be helpful in the time leading up to finals.

6)  Bake some pies- Some of my favorite fall foods are all the dishes you can make with apples, like apple fritter, pie, crisp and many more tasteful dishes with pumpkin!

I grew up in Columbus, Ohio and have been doing dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading for as long as I can remember. I have been a lifeguard for six years. I am a member of the Alpha chapter of Alpha Chi Omega here at DePauw. I have cheered on the tigers for football and basketball seasons for the last three years. I am a Biology major and my dream job is to become a pediatric nurse. I will be going to nursing school after I graduate from DePauw.
