So everyone is coming back to campus and there are so many things that are on the forefront of everyone’s minds. We are stressed and overloaded with everything that has happened within the past 24 hours. I want to use this article to remind you to take care of yourself. To truly take a step back, reflect and take a breath. So below I will suggest some websites or apps that you can use to meditate and let yourself forget about the world for a while.

Headspace

This is a free app that has guided meditation daily. It does have a 7 day trial period then it does have to be paid for but it is worth it. It only takes 5 minutes out of your day and I promise it is worth it. This is my favorite app and I can say I use this daily with 100% certainty.

Calm

I believe you do have to pay for a membership for this app but this app also provides free music. This type of music is meditation and relaxing music.

Relax Now

This is a 100% completely free app. It provides guided meditation and certain relaxing music. I personally find this to be beneficial to my routine.

Pzizz

This app provides music and noise to help you sleep. Personally, I know I need something in the background rather than just music to help me sleep. Sometimes music distracts me though, and I can’t get to sleep with music with words. This app helps provide that type of music and relaxation.

Aura

This app is similar to headspace in that fact that it is a meditation app. Except this app includes stories, self-meditation, guided meditation, etc. This app would help an individual relax and truly focus on themselves.
