Let’s meet Sarah Roth, a Chaco-loving sophomore from Morris, IL who is planning to major in economics! Sarah has already taken advantage of the great opportunities that DePauw offers- she’s a Management Fellow, Assistant to the VP of Finance at Pi Beta Phi, Academic Excellence tutor, a DJ with WGRE, and the Member and Development Chair of DePauw Consultant Club.
As part of the Executive team of DePauw Consultant Club, her and a few others are working to get the club recognized. It first started by searching for ways to better Ashley Square Cinema, such as trying to integrate the DePauw and Greencastle community.
“We work with West Monroe- a huge consulting firm. It is a great way to get real world experience for people interested in consulting!” says Roth.
HC: Hey Sarah! Wow… how are you able to keep up and juggle all of your activities?
SR: Academic Excellence helped me a lot. The class is about how to handle your time and that’s what I tutor! It’s really nice to have friends, professors, and family that actually care about my success, because it makes me want to do it for more than just me!
HC: Yeah, totally. So.. with everything you have going on, how do you like to de-stress?
SR: I love hiking! I think one of my favorite past times here at DePauw is going to the Nature Park to hike!
