The semester is well on its way now that we’re entering sweater weather (and loving every second of it)! But as the weather cools down, our classes are heating up, and with that, our stress levels. Thank goodness that Her Campus and some absolutely incredible sponsors sent us our first #HCSurvivalKits of the year! As a team, we opened up the goodies and enjoyed the incredible products, and we have just enough left over for a few incredible give aways!!
This #HCSurvivalKit was themed #GettingBackGivingBack and included some really inspiring campaigns for giving back and making a difference in the world. While Her Campus and our sponors were spoiling us with incredible goodies, they also shared with us some opportunities and ways that our Her Campus chapter could support girls and women around the globe.
HC DePauw members were given information about the No Ceilings: Full Participation Project, a campaign developed and run by the Clinton Foundation. The No Ceilings initiative is working to “inspire and advance the full participation of girls around the world.” Members of HC DePauw now have a “calendar” of ways they can make a difference and support the initiative each day!
While we want to continue empowering women and inspiring women to reach their full potential, our #HCSurvivalKtis included the #ActuallySheCan campaign, an incredible initiative to empower women by focusing on the positive aspects of life, and growing from those areas.
Other products we got are sure to make us feel prepared for whatever the rest of the semester throws at us! Cold-Eeze cold remedies will come in handy when the DePlague hits us, making sure we don’t get knocked off our feet! New York Color supplied us with super vibrant eye shadow and eye primer sticks, guaranteed to make us look our best every time we sport the eye-popping makeup! 5 Hour Energy not only provided us with 5-hour-energy shots, but also headphones so we can keep jamming to the music while we go about our busy days.
