As we welcome the class of 2020 onto campus and to a new year of Her Campus, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on my time with this organization.
When I started writing for HC four years ago as a scared first-year student at DePauw I had no idea how important this organization would become to me. We started as a small group of passionate girls who got together to write about what was happening around campus and in our lives. By showcasing this passion and sharing with students on campus we have grown to a group of over 40 women (and men) who are still just as passionate as we were four years ago.
I am so thankful that I have had the opportunity to write for Her Campus the past four years. I have gone from a writer, to a section editor, to my second year as Campus Correspondent. Even though I am now a senior and this is my last year with Her Campus, I am so excited to see all the amazing things that we will accomplish this year as well as what this organization can go on to become after I leave DePauw.
