It’s the Holiday Season!

Welcome back Tigers!! As Thanksgiving break is over, we have now entered into the most wonderful time of the year. Thank goodness for the holiday season! What is better than Christmas trees, presents, stockings, mistletoe, ugly sweaters and a fabulous season of giving?

Decorations start to adorn DePauw’s campus. Amazing cookies, wonderful holiday music and candy canes, too. Secret Santa always becomes a seasonal favorite among the DePauw community. “When I think of Christmas, I think of sitting in my living room with the smell of the Christmas tree and Christmas music playing, with a fire behind me as I lounge in my fuzzy socks and a sweat shirt with a book,” says sophomore Siri Retrum.

All of us on campus may have piles of homework, and the stress of finals lingering overhead, but take time to get into the holiday spirit during a short study break. Use this time to listen to Christmas music or watch the classic 25 days of Christmas movies on ABC family.

Cuddling up with a blanket and hot chocolate, while preparing for dreaded finals is a perfect way to kick off the beginning of the winter season.
