Here’s What Happened on ‘The Bachelorette’

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at DePauw chapter.

Thought you saw the last of my Bachelor commentary? Think again! I’m back for one final Bachelor recap. And, if you aren’t watching this season because you don’t like Hannah, I encourage you to also THINK AGAIN!! Our Bachelorette stepped out last night in a beautiful sequined disco ball dress, but she was not. there. to. mess. around. Roll tide.

Hannah is here for love, and she will do anything to find it. In the previews, we saw her tell the guys that they haven’t asked her any real questions about herself and that they must get it together, or she’s done. I felt that.

The most iconic part of the night was probably when they brought in Demi and Katie from last season and had them as spies in a creepy white van. AMAZING! This is the kind of support we need. Demi found out that one of the mans had a girlfriend back home. Hannah confronted him, and he tried to weasel his way out, but he was no match for Hannah. Apparently, he just broke up with his gf that same week but had her waiting for when things didn’t work out??? Hannah sent him home right then and there. BYE!!!

In other news, Peter the pilot already seems to be a fan favorite after he stepped out of the limo in his uniform. Power move. He gave Hannah his extra set of wings and seems like such a sweetheart. Unfortunately, the other pilot got sent home…

Other disappointing cuts include Matt Donald the farmer and Brian the math teacher. You will be missed.

And the first impression rose went to Luke P. The body-building, Jesus-loving man who “found God in the shower.” We are not sure how we feel, but okay. He did comfort her after she sent that dude with the boyfriend home, so whatever. Proceeding with caution.

Personally, I already have a favorite: Connor S. (One of the three guys Hannah kissed; others include Luke P. and Cam.) He came in by jumping a fence, which I respect. A cutie!!

Overall, it was a wild night, and I’m so excited for this season!!

My predictions: Connor S., Luke P., Peter and Jedd for final four with Tyler C. and Mike in the top six

Winner prediction: Connor S. with Peter the pilot as a strong runner-up

Happy watching!
