Halloween Ensembles Inspire

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at DePauw chapter.

It’s official. October is here! The leaves are beginning to change color, caramel apples are flying off of the shelves at Kroger, and those Daisy Dukes aren’t quite enough to get you from class to class anymore.
But while you’re tearfully boxing up your summer clothing, don’t lose sight of what the month of October really signifies: Halloween!
Carli Anderson, class of ’14, came to DePauw well-prepared for this thrilling and creative holiday.  On move-in day way back in August, along with the rest of her dorm room paraphernalia, Anderson unpacked an extra suitcase: a costume box.  Filled to the brim with everything from interesting pieces of jewelry, to medieval hats, to vintage corsets; Anderson is saved from ever having a dull day in her room.
As Halloween approaches, we are all starting to go through our own mental costume boxes to figure out what we may want to dress up as.  If you’re searching for inspiration here at DePauw, you’ve found the right webpage.  Anderson graciously tried on a few of the pieces from her costume box to jumpstart the process of finding the perfect costume!
