This year’s first year class at DePauw is filled with students from all over. Luckily, I have become friends with most of my classmates and have gotten to know them each in different ways. My group of friends all seem to mainly live outside of Indiana. Each one dresses more like where they are from and who they are as a person. One of my friends, Evan Swayne, comes from Altadena, California and likes to go for more of a subtle and calm look. Evan is a chill individual who is a part of the management fellows here at DePauw and apart of the men’s lacrosse team.
Class
When going to class Evan looks for something that fits him well and is appealing. He is not one to stand out during school hours, so he goes for “comfortable, yet semi-stylish.” He is seen in more of neutral colors and sneakers or converse. Evans “go-to” for class includes converse and neutral shirts.
Going Out
When going out Evan never really plans ahead, he just goes with the flow. “Honestly it is whatever I am feeling at the moment,” he states. He says his look is more of an urban style. He also does not like to confine himself to a certain style. Evan likes to switch it up occasionally. “It is always something new, so I do not really have any ‘go to’ when I’m going out.”
