BANGS on My Feet

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at DePauw chapter.

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love shoes? Even better than just a simple shoe…a set of six different styles and colored shoes that support six non-profit organizations that could change the world. Introducing: BANGS Shoes!

New to campus, BANGS Shoes is a company that manufactures and sells six different types of shoes, and each shoe is paired with a different non-profit, sustainable organization. Twenty percent of each purchase of every style sold goes to the non-profit it’s paired with. And if that alone isn’t incentive enough to check them out, they are super cute and super comfortable. These shoes are about to steal the show. Now there is a team of DePauw students who are helping spread the word about this amazing company and these amazing shoes.

BANGS Shoes is a young company, a little over a year old. Hannah Davis, the founder, was teaching English in China when she got the idea to form a revolutionary shoe company. The company’s motto is “Stand On Issues”, and every time a pair of BANGS Shoes is bought or worn, someone is being helped enough to stand on their own.

Blue shoes for Clean Water

Red Shoes for Disaster Aid

Brown Shoes for Ending Hunger

White shoes for Financial Empowerment

Green shoes for Development

Black shoes for Education in the U.S.

These shoes are for amazing causes, and they could transform someone’s life. If you’re interested in finding out more, or buying a pair, check it out online at www.bangsshoes.com.
