Being the baby of four kids, I grew up thrifty. I learned the value of a good deal and we even jokingly call my father “Discount Dad.” So, you can imagine my surprise as a child when my Dad also taught me that the cheapest thing isn’t always the best thing, that things should cost a certain amount of money. This is why I was originally skeptic of EyeBuyDirect.com. I didn’t think that prescription glasses should be able to be bought for twenty dollars. But, as it was only twenty dollars, I gave it a whirl. Within a week, I had brand new glasses!
While I had zero problems with the glasses through ordering, processing, shipment, etc, I put myself in contact with the customer service department, just to get a feel for how they work. I e-mailed back and forth with a woman named Kelsey who was a delight. She was extremely attentive, responded quickly, and tried to find a way for me to like my glasses more. I can only imagine how they would react if they were to have made a mistake!
Because I was essentially getting these glasses for a spare pair, I decided to go with a fun blue and silver turtle pattern, but there are so many different styles to choose from. I sent my best friend at least 3 designs in multiple colors! Another great facet of the business is the constant deals. If you were to log on now, you’ll be greeted by a 15% coupon for being a first time customer, or a buy one get one deal so you can buy two pairs of strong glasses for a fraction of the cost from the optometrist. All in all, I would highly recommend EyeBuyDirect.com for girls like me, who are balling on a budget through college. Let’s be real: there’s no way you could get me to give up my entire paycheck for a set of glasses. But, I could give up part of a shift for a new look (or two if you order fast!)
