Top Things to Eat for Meal X
If you frequent Curtis and Huffman, you may not be aware of some of the meal x food in Slayter. Things are fairly different from last year, with some arguing there is less variety. There are 5 different areas, the Mexican Chipotle style area, and the Salad, Sandwich, stir fry and hot grill bars. Here is a short summary of each of these different areas.
1. Mexican Area: Here you can order burritos, two tacos, a burrito bowl and Nachos. Nachos are the hidden gem here, Queso sauce is included for free. Just a warning, guacamole is $1.80 extra.
2. Salad Area: Start with choosing between spinach or romaine lettuce, and finish by adding toppings of your choice. These include various cheeses, veggies, and proteins.
3. Sandwich Area: Similar to last year, you can basically create any sandwich you want. The provider added chicken salad, which is impressive for dining hall food. Ask for avocado spread on your bread to add a great taste.
4. Grill: Here you can order a burger, turkey burger, or chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwiches have avocado and bacon, which is a great treat. The burgers made from locally produced meat, so it tastes pretty decent.
5. Stir-fry: This is probably the most popular area. First choose from a variety of sauces, like soy, teriyaki, and coconut curry, then add protein and veggies.
