Maggie is our Her Campus secretary and was enthusiastic to answer some questions about herself, Her Campus, and our amazing survival kit.
HC: Why did you get involved with Her Campus?
MK: I got involved in Her Campus because my roommate is the president and I thought it would be a great way for women to publish whatever they wanted, whether it was personal or not. It brings a sense of community when we have our meetings and post content.
HC: Which survival kit item are you most excited about?
MK: I was most excited about the tank tops because I go to the gym a lot and it seems like it would be a great top to work out in.
HC: Which survival kit item do you see yourself using the most?
MK: I would see myself using the tank top a lot because it is so comfy and they have cute quotes on them, plus I can wear them in a lot of different ways from hitting the gym to lounging around to going to class.
HC: What is your favorite part about being the secretary of Her Campus at The University of Delaware?
MK: My favorite part of being the secretary is staying in touch with all of the members and taking notes during our meetings. It allows me to add my own personality into the weekly emails that I send out. It also makes me feel like a bigger part of the Her Campus community.
HC: Which survival kit item are you most likely to give as a gift?
MK: The survival kit item I would most likely give as a gift would be the Tarte palette only because who wouldn’t want a free makeup palette? I may also gift the mascara because most girls love makeup, therefore, you can’t go wrong with a makeup gift.
HC: What kind of survival kit items do you hope to see in the future?
MK: For future survival kit items, I hope to maybe see a hat or even more shirts or other apparel. Hopefully more lotions and skin care items as well. I also love candles and would love ot see those make it in there too!
Thank you for everything that you do for the organization, Maggie!
