Five Twitter Accounts You Should Be Following for Unhinged Entertainment

The opinions expressed in this article are the writer’s own and do not reflect the views of Her Campus.
This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Delaware chapter.

Are you new to Twitter and need some ideas on who to follow or are you just looking to switch up your feed? Check out these five Twitter accounts to find some new and unhinged content.

1. @letterboxdauras

If you’re not a big film fan you may not know about the rating site Letterboxd. On Letterboxd you can find reviews and ratings for all of your favorite (or least favorite) movies and films. The site is great for when you’ve just watched a new movie and you want to see if anyone else noticed the same thing that you did. Letterboxd uses a pretty standard rating system of five stars with half stars being included. The reviews are where it can get kind of crazy though. While some reviews are pretty typical and include actual opinions on the film, others provide a little…less. Check out @letterboxdauras if you want to read some of the more interesting reviews and the movies they go with.

2. @CaucasianJames

I don’t know what it is about this guy, but he definitely makes me laugh. When one of his tweets comes across my feed, half of the time I’m like, “Man what is going on?”, the other half I’m like, “Yeah, okay. Fair enough.” I’m not sure whether it’s the relatable content of having a bad day or the very Dad-like persona, but I really am rooting for CaucasianJames to have a good day.

3. @SparkNotes

If you ever took an English class – you know what SparkNotes is, but did you know they have a Twitter? And did you know that literary references can actually be funny? Because SparkNotes definitely makes them funny. I will admit that when I see one of their tweets and I actually know what they’re referencing I do feel like a God. But even when I don’t understand, I still get a good laugh out of the Tweet.

4. @WTFRenaissance

If you’re into that Millennial-Style, Facebook Meme type of humor – this account is for you. Instead of Minions, this Twitter user creates memes using renaissance paintings and pictures. Obviously, the account uses humor from today so you don’t have to be an expert in Renaissance-aged humor (though maybe it’s not all that different? Much to consider).

5. @anthonykoz

You may recognize Anthony from Tiktok, where he posts chaotic, yet fun videos of him completing his daily tasks. Personally, I followed his Twitter because I found him so funny on Tiktok and I needed more of that chaotic energy in my day to day life. In one of his recent tweets, Anthony said, “I really be treatin Twitter like an intrusive thoughts journal,” and I found this to be a very accurate account of what his Twitter is like. If you like to laugh, I say check him out.

If you need to spice up your Twitter feed, I hope you check out these accounts. Though I know I laugh at most things, I have found that I’m not the only one that thinks these accounts are funny and worth a follow.
