Oh. My. God. A Revolution Beauty X Friends make-up line just launched and now you have a whole makeup collection to help you look like your favourite Friends character. You would be lying if you said that at some stage you were watching Friends and never once adored the girls’ style and makeup and wanted to dress like them or have their sense of style and fashion.

Series one of the collection features three mini-eyeshadow palettes, three bullet lipsticks (both of which are inspired by Phoebe Buffay, Rachel Green, and Monica Geller) and a large Friends palette.

The brand’s founder, Adam Minto, told Allure that a lot of hard work and dedication went into each product to ensure they suited each character.

“We looked at each character detail – what they wear, their mannerisms, the makeup they use, the personalities – and started to build from there,” he told Allure, “The products take on the life of each character in a really immersive way.”

Revolution Beauty is the only beauty brand who have been allowed to adapt the Friends logo and font into their own Revolution logo.

“But this was not about sticking a Friends logo on an existing Revolution product; this was about original shades, products, show-stopping merch and playing on details from the series,” said Minto.

This is evident in each of the girl’s pallets and lipsticks. The Rachel lipstick is a deep nude, reflecting the shade she usually wears throughout the show. Meanwhile, her palette features pink and brown shades, with some named ‘Push Over’ and ‘On a Break’ mirroring her character.

Monica is known for effortlessly pulling off a red lip throughout the show, her lipstick is a muted red shade, while the Monica palette showcases red and brown shades. The shade names such as ‘Geller Cup’, ‘Obsessive’ and “Chef’ effortlessly reflect on her personality and funny moments across the popular sitcom.

While Phoebe is known as an eccentric character, her makeup was always natural which is seen in the muted pink and orange shades of her palette, with shade names like ‘Ditzy’ and of course, ‘Smelly Cat’. The Phoebe bullet lipstick is a striking wine shade.

Along with the lipsticks, each character including the boys have their own lip gloss retailing at €6.99 each, which is the same price as the bullet lipsticks, while the mini pallets will cost you a reasonable €9.99.

In the larger palette, the boys are included in the shade along with some other staple characters, such as Janice, Estelle, and Emma. The shades vary from warm copper tones to pops of purple, violet, orange, and even a yellow shimmer for Frank.

Along with series one of the collections are some scrunchies, makeup bags and a mirror. Pivot on over to revolutionbeauty.com to get your hands on this make-up line and recreate some of your favourite character’s looks or even embrace your creative side!
