For those of you who don’t know, as of today, November 17, there have been 71 deaths reported, due to the Northern California wildfire (Camp Fire). In Southern California, there have only been 3 fatalities confirmed due to the wildfire (Woolsey Fire). Both of these fires keep grabbing onto land and creating what they are calling the “dirtiest air in the world”.

According to CBS News this is how much damage these two fires have caused:

Camp Fire

Location: Butte County

148,000 acres burned

55 percent contained

71 fatalities confirmed

11,862 structures destroyed (including homes)

Woolsey Fire

Location: Los Angeles County, Ventura County

98,362 acres burned

82 percent contained

3 fatalities confirmed

713 structures destroyed, 57,000 in danger

This is just a reminder to keep your thoughts and prayers with those who are losing their homes and the firefighters who are doing their best to keep everyone safe.
