This week Her Campus CWU got in contact with Cole Gilomen! Cole was born and raised in Kent Washington, he is majoring in Elementary Education, and is actually graduating this Spring from CWU! Cole is also minoring in teaching English as a second language, which is incredible for someone who is only 20 years old! Cole is very involved with campus life, he is in clubs around campus and also works on campus. Here is a bit more about Cole Gilomen:
Are you apart of any clubs? I’ve been a part of Equal for 2 years now and am the Publicity Coordinator. Also, we are currently planning for pride week! I oversee publicity and marketing as well as Drag Friday.
Are you currently employed? Yes, I work as a student ambassador for visitation and am a server in dining hall.
What is your favorite type of music? I love EDM music, my favorite DJ’s are Diplo, Datsik, Mija, and Galantis. My favorite rave that I have gone to so far is Global Dub Fest in Eugene, Oregon.
What are your favorite hiking spots? In Ellensburg, my favorite hiking spot is Manastash Ridge. I also love the Margarette Lake hike near Snoqualmie Pass.
Favorite thing to do when you are bored? I like to bake. I love baking breakfast food and pastries; my favorite is banana muffins to have with my coffee in the mornings.
