So its 2018, almost 2019 I might add, and I still am constantly looking around and seeing SO MANY PEOPLE using single use water bottles! I think to myself, “Don’t you all know how bad those single use plastic products are?” and the answer is yes, most people know how bad they are, and are still using them. There are more reasons to use a reusable water bottle, and here they are.
1. They are adorable
Just like your favorite accessory, your water bottle can be stylish and cute! There are so many different types of bottles that you can choose from, and some of them even have multi-purpose uses for hot or cold drinks. Next time you find yourself binge shopping on Amazon, throw one of these babies in your shopping cart! They are inexpensive, fun and an easy addition to your daily routine.
2. They will save you MONEY
Have you ever thought of how much money you probably spend on water on a yearly basis? “Over the last decade it has become a staple with the average American spending over $100 per year/per person.” Now, think about how crazy that is when you could literally spend $10 on a reusable water bottle and save $100 a year. CWU specifically has special “water bottle refill stations” all over campus, so there no excuse people!
3. SAVE MOTHER EARTH Y’ALL
You guys, I know you’re tired of hearing about the planet and how much pollution we produce every year, but when no ones doing anything to change that fact it means that we have to keep on talking about it. Americans use 1 Million water bottles a minute, which breaks down to about 20,000 a second. That is far too many, and there is a simple fix, BUY A DANG REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE PEOPLE.
