Welcome Back!  The fall semester is fully underway, but the fall weather is certainly not.  While I love that the summer tans are lasting a bit longer, I am definitely ready for some cooler days and fall fashion.  Since the temperatures are still lurking around the mid to low 80s, finding a way to participate in the fall fashion trends while not passing out from heat stroke can definitely be a challenge.  A great way to combat this, contrary to what your mother may have taught you, is to mix your darks with lights.  Normally, this creates a laundry catastrophe. However, by mixing the lightweight flowy clothes with darker shades, such as the deep olive green and charcoal gray I wore as my outfit of the day, you can create a fall feel for the outfit without the fear of overheating.
