Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE music from the 1960’s and 1970’s. It has always been an interest that my dad and I have bonded over. Some of my favorite childhood memories are driving with him and listening to CD’s by Elton John, The Supremes, Queen, and so forth in our red Mini Cooper. Nowadays, I love creating playlists for any and every occasion, like trips I’m going on, walks across campus, work outs, and more. My “groovy💫🕺” playlist is my favorite, and is currently made up of 284 songs and is my go to whenever I need a pick-me-up, or just want to sing at the top of my lungs in my car. The music has such a warm, nostalgic feeling and is the best for just walking around and feeling upbeat. It is also my go-to for combating seasonal depression, so I thought it would be fun to share some songs from my playlist that give me a serotonin boost at times like this! Enjoy!
