This past weekend the 2016 Mission Trips traveled to Anne Arundel County, Maryland for a retreat in preparation for the impending trips to Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Belize, and El Paso, Texas. The retreat was an opportunity for the young missionaries to reflect on what called them to serve and prepare for the work they will be doing on their eight day trip. Students are encouraged to “take nothing for the journey” as they prepare to live simply, so others can simply live.
