I want to reflect briefly on failure, inherent in human nature. From the personal analysis we make, it can be steps of learning and overcome or of frustration and fall. We agree that we all make mistakes and that we can learn from them. Have you ever failed in your life? Yes, sure yes. There is a consensus to take advantage of the opportunities that life gives you to learn, take responsibility and implement strategies to overcome and cope. Now, even if we use this discourse we should not reach the apology of failure, nobody likes to feel “unsuccessful.” In our brain, different circuits are activated when we think that we achieve success when we think we are wrong. This is due to the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter that makes us more motivated and predisposed to gain pleasure and success. But what about failure? Errors are learned, and if we examine and elaborate them.

Does failure make us examine ourselves? Yes, maybe late, because there are errors that if they had been analyzed previously, perhaps they could have been avoided.

Why did I jump into the void without knowing how to fly? “Although the novelty delights us, we must plan, be clear about a business plan and if I do not know something I cannot put money into it because I will always be missing something,” said my grandfather to me before he passed away. He told me about his failure to open a store on a product that I did not know “One thing is a hobby and another a business. Without knowing a sector, it is a failure “

“I made many bad hot decisions.” Stopping to think is a necessary time. He often encouraged people to throw themselves “if you are going to make mistakes better than it is in something new” for him always “it is better to ask for forgiveness than to ask permission,” “sometimes you win others you learn.” He does not regret his decisions, but he assumed that he should have stopped to think. And sometimes failures can overcome you, and you have to give yourself some time to learn and recover the necessary strength to continue undertaking.

“Perseverance is not repeating mistakes is daring to commit new ones” saying that he wanted to make as many mistakes as necessary because the fear is always there, there was nothing without risk.

At this point of the year, possibly having failed a few tests, being denied an opportunity, everyone has failed if not one, but many times too. It’s your willingness to keep moving forward. It is a failure that supposes a robust personal impact, that generates feelings of blockade and incapacity affecting the economy, being able to ruin the entrepreneur. However, failure is another step in life: Providing experience and knowledge of errors so as not to commit them again, well elaborated can increase your tolerance and cope with frustration. Today is a new day, a new chance to try things again, to finish another day strong.
