DIY Last Minute Halloween Costume Ideas

It’s that time of year again when the leaves change color, the weather gets colder and costumes become a custom. Yes, it’s already Halloween, which means the panic of what to wear kicks in! Some people plan their costumes way in advance and some of us well…wait until the absolute last minute. So, here are a couple of DIY last minute costume ideas for you, your crew, or just you and your man!

Solo Costumes.  

1. “You’re the one that I want”…YES, it’s Sandy from Grease!!! You cannot go wrong with this one! This costume is super easy and very sexy…all you need are some leather pants or black high wasted pants, with an off the shoulder black crop top and some red heels (belt and leather jacket optional)! Throw on some red lipstick and a bunch of curls in your hair all to one side and you’re good to go!

2. If your running out of costume ideas and want an instant classic, well here you go: a Mean Girls classic! You will be a hit at the party with this one! All you need is a white tank top, preferably purple bra (to be more accurate but any color works) and jeans! 

3. Who doesn’t love a sweet, juciy piece of watermelon on a warm summer night??? So, bring some summer to the fall with this fabulous DIY watermelon costume! All you need is a pink body con dress, green ribbon, black felt and glue. To make this costume a little more scandalous (like the picture above) make some slits in the costume as if someone took a bite!

Group Costumes. 

1. There is nothing better than a wine night with your girls, am I right? You and your BFF’s could easily be your favorite boxed wine with wine colored body con dresses and the brand name of the boxed wine you love. Take some plastic and the boxed wine nosel and wrap it around you with some heels and VOILA! 

2. If you and your friends are feeling a bit daring and a little last minute, transform yourselves into the Single Ladies. With just a sexy black leotard and some black heels people will be wanting to put a ring on it all night long! 

3. Have you always wanted to be a VS angel but didn’t know where to start?? Well, you and your girlfriends can be them for Halloween! Grab some silky pink robes either from Victoria’s Secret or some place else and put a VS decal on it. Sport it with a lacey bra underneath and let it peep through and pair it with some heels or slippers…oh, and dont forget their signature beachy tresses! 

Couples Costumes.

1. This is the ULTIMATE couples’ costume this year and totally easy…Netflix and Chill! All that’s needed are the shirts that have the Netflix decal and one that says Chill, and you’ll be the hit of any Halloween party!

2. Be the ultimate badass couple in leather AKA Jax and Tara from Sons of Anarchy. This costume is super easy for you and your man! As Tara, throw on some dark jeans, biker boots, a black tank and leather jacket and for him all he needs is jeans, white sneakers, a t-shirt and a Sons of Anarchy vest or sweatshirt found online.

3. “Gotta catch ’em all”…become this classic Pokemon duo this Halloween! It’s totally easy…for you just throw on some black and yellow or even a yellow dress with black leg warmers and craft some ears and lightening bolts. For him just jeans, a black shirt, blue and yellow vest and trucker hat seen above!
