Brookland Metro: Your Great Escape

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CUA chapter.

The Mullen Library’s uncomfortable temperatures and excessive crowds is an immediate indicator that finals week has arrived. Studying for exams or writing final papers needs to be done in a stress free and motivating environment. Therefore, don’t be hesitant to take the redline into the city and find a coffee shop, bookstore, or restaurant to finish your work. Better yet, take a study break. The Brookland Metro Station is so close to campus that you would be doing yourself a disservice by hiding out in your dorm room instead. You live in one of the greatest cities in the country; you should try to take advantage of it before winter break!
