The Astrological Placements I’m Most Attracted To (Part 2)

Astrology isn’t for everybody, but I love learning about the aspects of each individual sign and what makes them unique. Remember, there is no such thing as a “good” sign or a “bad” sign! Everyone is special in their own way, including the way they perceive each sign based on their own chart.

In astrology, your Mercury placement determines how you think, process information, talk, and communicate in general, and it also indicates how you learn. Your Venus placement determines how and what you love, and it indicates how you express affection and the qualities that you are attracted to. Lastly, your Mars placement determines how you assert yourself, take action, and the energy that surrounds you–especially in your sex life, your ambitiousness, and when you are angry.

Here are my favorite Mercury, Venus, and Mars placements as a Pisces Mercury, Pisces Venus, and Scorpio Mars.

*Side note: you may not identify with the description of your sign, but not all aspects may apply! Take what resonates with you and go from there; I do the same.*

My Favorite Mercury Placement

My Pisces Mercury is a water placement, and I find that my intellect is more emotionally driven and dreamy, and a bit in the clouds at times. However, I have a really strong intuition and imagination that helps me stay open-minded to the thoughts and ideas of others. I am a great listener and I often feel inclined to help other people and focus on mine and others’ emotional wellbeings. Water and earth placements are most compatible compared with water placements and fire or air placements, and this remains true for me as my favorite Mercury placement is in Virgo.

Placements in Virgo are ruled by the planet Mercury, meaning that this placement is exalted and is able to express itself to its fullest potential. Individuals with their Mercury in Virgo are very analytically-oriented and precise along with being highly organized. They have an unbiased sense of logic that can make them seem indifferent or unsympathetic, but they are extremely conscious planners and pay close attention to detail.

What does this mean? Virgo and Pisces happen to be sister signs, which are signs that are directly opposite of each other on the zodiac wheel. These two signs have polar opposite elements and traits, yet, opposites do attract sometimes and I like that I am able to have balanced yet fun and intuitive conversations with individuals with a Mercury placement in Virgo.

My favorite venus placement

My Venus placement is in Pisces, a water sign; this means that my Venus placement is most compatible with individuals whose Venus placement is in other water signs or earth signs. Venus placements are also exalted in Pisces because Venus seeks harmony and balance in relationships and Pisces is the sign of compassion and empathy. My romantic side is dreamy, sentimental, and gentle. My feelings of compassion and love seem never ending, but I approach relationships very carefully to prevent being taken advantage of. If I had to choose a Venus placement in a sign other than Pisces, I would say I find myself attracted to people who are very sure of themselves in relationships, which is why a Venus placement in Scorpio is the next best choice.

My Venus placement in Pisces allows me to express love very similarly to that of an individual with a Venus placement in Scorpio. However, in true Scorpio fashion, their romantic side is intense in all ways: mysterious, passionate, and seductive. Because their devotion is so deep, their love is encompassing and knows no bounds, but this can lead to feelings of suspicion or jealousy if their feelings (and ego) get hurt.

What does this mean? The relationship between a Venus placement in Pisces and one in Scorpio is one filled with lots of affection and passion. The Venus placement in Scorpio makes the Pisces placement feel protected and deeply cared for, and the Venus placement in Pisces helps the Scorpio placement slow down and learn to enjoy the little things.

my favorite mars placement

Last is my Mars placement, which is in Scorpio and again most compatible with other Mars placements in earth and water signs. Like how my Venus placement is exalted in Pisces, my Mars placement is also exalted in Scorpio, which means that I express these traits in their strongest ways. This placement in Scorpio is what makes the way I assert myself very seriously and incisively, and once I make the decision to do something, I won’t hold back and I’ll devote a lot of time and energy to the task. While I would prefer someone who also has their Mars placement in Scorpio, some stability and groundedness would be lovely, and I think Mars placements in Taurus are the perfect placements for that.

Although Mars placements in Taurus can be stubborn or avoid making the first move, these individuals assert themselves in a way that is almost opposite of my Mars placement: very practical and relaxed, yet concrete and very decisive. They are reliable individuals who are slow to anger and navigate relationships from a level-headed state of mind.

What does this mean? Simply put, my Mars placement in Scorpio and another in Taurus would balance each other out. It is healthy to have conversations about boundaries in relationships and the way that these two placements can help each other navigate not only their relationship, but life itself, is very harmonious and leads to a lot of growth together.

I enjoy learning about astrology so much, and I love sharing what I know, even if it’s just introducing people to the concept. Much of my knowledge comes from perusing the Co-Star app/website and the Astro Future app, reading “The Astrology of You and Me,” and being an active follower of Milkstrology’s twitter account. I am also lucky enough to know someone who offers personalized astrology readings and holds workshops that I find really interesting, and you can find those on her website!
