Post Spring Break Depression Explained by Jessica Day

Coming back from your tropical, warm Spring Break is always hard. There’s nothing good on the horizon until school is out, which feels like a year away. Reality hits, it’s still cold, snowy and you have to get back to your responsibilities. Not to mention, your tan is going to fade soon. Sorry, hate to bring that up. To not deal with those feelings alone, we have Jess from New Girl to perfectly explain our feelings as we head back to the final stretch of school.

That terrifying feeling of dread that comes over you when you remember all of the homework you told yourself that you would do on the plane but slept instead…. Oops.

Sitting in class trying to pay attention when all you can think about is drinking on the beach like you were just a few days earlier… it's a rough transition. Can’t listen to the lecture... sorry.

When someone says they’re glad to be back at school and ask if you want to do homework together… excuse me? Still grieving the loss of sun.

Reminiscing with your friends about the trip and you’re all still reliving it, asking if you should post more pics. Just… keep posting, keep the feeling alive.

Trying to give your body the break it so desperately needs when all you really want is to keep the party going.

Coming back to school is rough, but hopefully, Jess made you feel a little better about it. Summer is around the corner… SPRING BREAK FOREVER!

Thanks, Giphy for the perfect explanations to our feelings.
