What is it like to be on a college dance team?

-It takes a lot of discipline and a ton of time management but it holds me accountable to all my responsibilities. Overall, I love the relationships I have made on the team and it’s an honor to represent my school.

 

When did you start dancing?

-I started when I was three years old.

 

What is your favorite thing about dancing?

-Throughout my entire life, dance has always been a positive outlet. It has taught me so many life lessons and has provided me with a lot of valuable leadership skills.

 

Do you have a favorite performance?

-Last year I got to cheer at the CU Coors Event Center for the men’s basketball game against the University of Arizona. It was such a close game with so many fans there that made the experience really awesome.

 

How do you balance the dance team, school, and being in a sorority?

-Time management has always had a huge impact in my life because dancing has been there since the beginning. Dance has taught me that I have to be accountable for all my responsibilities.

 

Caroline grew up on the East Coast, in Maryland, and now calls the Rocky Mountains home. She is a sophomore at the University of Colorado Boulder studying psychology and creative writing.
