    Sisters Christie and Poss Lambert own Cedar & Hyde Mercantile, a modern day mercantile for clothing, accessories, jewelry, and home decor. They’re located at 2015 10th St., open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to the beautiful pieces on their website, I love their “Journal” section featuring advice and other designers, creators, and brands.

    Michelle DeHaven is the founder of Haven, a shop that’s a “love letter to the tactile beauty of the handmade” by putting “quality over quantity, sustainable over wasteful, and hand-crafted over mass-manufactured.” From clothing and accessories to home decor and beauty, you’ll find it at 943 Pearl Street.

    Maker General is a cute, creative general store in Boulder County perfect for the creator in you! Owners Julie Benoit and Stephanie Sterling strive to build the maker community by providing textiles, fibers, and DIY kits, as well as creative workshops for those who want to learn something new.

    If you’re in Boulder and have never tried Boss Lady Pizza , what are you doing? Boss Lady Pizza is a locally owned pizza place with hand-tossed New York-style pizza. Whitney Gleave, the owner of Boss Lady Pizza, opened her store at 26 years old because she wanted to take control of her life. Women are so empowering, but not really common in the pizza industry. Gleave made Boss Lady to establish an empowering business to support all of the Lady Bosses across Colorado.

Owned by professional chocolatier and pastry chef, Sarah Amorese, Piece, Love & Chocolate ranges from gourmet truffles and cakes to hot chocolate and pastries. Sarah and her team create their infamous chocolates by combining personal experiences, current trends, art, and science. There's so much creativity and love that goes into these treats, making them stand out with their taste and looks.

    If you’re in the need of some serious self-care, look no further than Rebecca’s Herbal Apothecary & Supply. Founded by Rebecca Luna, the business provides everything you need to make botanical medicines as well as bath scrubs, salves, and lip gloss — all while focusing on environmentalism and sustainability.

    Natural hair in need of some care? Bodhi Locks is an inclusive natural hair salon that provides dreadlock services as well as haircuts and coloring for men, women, and non-binary individuals. At Bodhi Locks, owner Jessie Matthews strives to embody bliss and freedom and to empower her clients. Bodhi Locks is located at the Indie Salon Suites here in Boulder and are open Monday through Thursday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
