Gen Z has a diverse range of styles influenced by micro trends, social media, fashion history and personal style. Boulder, Colorado, tends to hone in on that crunchy-granola-hippy-might-hike later-but also, this jacket cost $250 kind of style. Inspired by the outdoors and reined in by the weather, everyone has different constraints around what they wear.
Trend forecasting tends to lump these people together, even with different local vibes, climates and personalities. In favor of personal style, I went to the people to see what they think will reign supreme in 2023 fashion. CU Boulder students (okay, and a few of my hometown friends) share their best guesses.
