With Covid-19 restrictions, having a good time with friends and family is hard. Go on your next adventure to one of Colorado’s most exciting restaurants and awaken your inner child!

Casa Bonita, Lakewood

Casa Bonita, a restaurant bursting with Mexican culture brings tourists from all over the world. From its divers to its Mariachi band, kids (of all ages) will have a blast! Just when you think you have explored the entire restaurant, you come upon another empty or packed room. There is a hidden dinner theatre room in the basement of the Mexican restaurant, with a Zoltar machine greeting you on your way in. Make sure to take your picture on the stage or under the fancy chandelier to capture your memories! They are temporarily closed due to COVID-19, but be on the lookout for the reopening.

Four by Brother Luck, Colorado Springs

This themed restaurant located in Colorado Springs goes off of the four main providers who supply their ingredients: the hunter, the fisherman, the gatherer, and the farmer. Their head chef was featured on Top Chef to top it off! Get all dressed up to dine at this exquisite restaurant.

The Golden Bee, Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs

Ever been to a restaurant where they physically throw bees at you? I can tell you, it’s not what you think. When you sit down to dine at this restaurant, your server will throw a sticky bee patch at you as a memento from the occasion. No need to pay the extra $$$ to stay in the Broadmoor Hotel, just tell them at the gates you are there to dine at The Golden Bee.

Snooze Eatery, Boulder

A Boulder Bucket List Item, Snooze will probably be the best breakfast you have ever had. It isn’t due to the world’s best pancake maker either. Snooze developed a brilliant business model: no reservations and long lines. So by the time you eat your breakfast, you will be so hungry it will taste like magic. That’s not to say that the food isn’t great, which it is! The only tip: you HAVE to get a pancake flight.

Beau Jo’s, Idaho Springs

Beau Jo’s Pizza, located in Idaho Springs, Fort Collins, and Longmont, makes Colorado-style pizza. My favorite location, however, is the one located in Idaho Springs not too far from Boulder. Built like an old mine, this unintentionally themed restaurant has a fun ambiance and great food.

The Historic Mint, Dillon

This themed steakhouse is a hidden gem located in the oldest building in Summit County. It is also Colorado’s oldest restaurant being founded in 1862!

The Fort, Morrison

Want to feel like a cowgirl in Red Rocks Concert Venue’s hometown, Morrison? The Fort is an old-west themed affordable fine dining. It is also the location to try Rocky Mountain Oysters if you’re feeling adventurous.

Brown Palace Hotel, Denver

Feeling fancy? Get dressed up and join the Brown Palace Hotel in its tea time daily to feel apart of high society. This stunning hotel is the perfect outing for you and your friends!

Adrift Tiki, Denver

Tiki is The place to get umbrella drinks and have a good time. This tiki-themed restaurant is Denver’s tropical paradise. So put your summer dress and sunglasses on and have a whirlwind night at Adrift Tiki.

Union Soda Bar, Fort Collins

This fun restaurant located about an hour from campus has great desserts, appetizers, cocktails, and mocktails. Sit outside by the fire and enjoy a girl’s night out or special date night!

Avogadro’s Number, Fort Collins

Avogadro’s Number is an affordable and delicious restaurant and concert venue. It’s perfect for those with dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, vegetarian, or gluten while still tasting edible!

The Airplane Restaurant, Colorado Springs

Ever wanted to dine in an actual airplane? If you’re visiting Colorado Springs, you can! And it’s not just for those who are in love with aviation.

The Rabbit Hole, Colorado Springs

For those of you curious about dining in an “Alice In Wonderland” themed restaurant this exciting restaurant is the perfect place! Visit The Airplane Restaurant for lunch and then head to The Rabbit Hole for a fun night out.

Linger, Denver

Denver’s old mortuary turned restaurant. Ever imagine what it would be like to drink water from formaldehyde bottles (clean of course) or eat on conveyor belts as tables? If you’re feeling adventurous head down to Linger in Denver.

Aquarium Restaurant, Denver

This themed restaurant located in the Denver Aquarium allows you to eat a meal while watching fish in large tanks and sometimes mermaid shows! What better way to end your trip to the aquarium than to eat a shark-themed chocolate cake while watching fish?

Regardless of which restaurants you visit, you are in for a treat! Next adventure, maybe?
