5 Stores Having Amazing Online Shopping Sales

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CU Boulder chapter.

Does quarantine have you in a funk? Do you do the same routine every day and start to think you’re starring in the movie “Groundhog’s Day”? Let me help you snap out of your trance. That was me for a while. I was unhappy, but there will be an end to this. We need to look to the future and get ready to live our normal lives again someday. What better way to do that than online shopping?

The only problem is, we are all broke. With the economy at a standstill, jobs are lost every day. You don’t want to waste your money. But, what you didn’t know is that stores are struggling too. Many online sales are going on right now at some of the trendiest stores. Stop your sulking and get your debit card ready. We are going shopping.

Nasty Gal

60% off EVERYTHING! Even the sale items. Come shop on this site and browse some of the trendiest clothes out there. For those of you who have been binging “All American” on Netflix and are obsessed with Oliva Baker’s fit, hop on this site. The trendy animal print midi skirts that she rocks on the show are sold on Nasty Gal for a low price. Not to mention, they had the best shoe selection for those with an edgy style.

PacSun

70% off markdowns and up to 50% off bathing suits. Pacsun sells clothes for those of you with a beachy, California vibe. PacSun also has select markdowns on shorts, and they have the cutest mom shorts I have seen. Their markdowns are mostly winter items that they try to get rid of, but still cute items. Their bathing suits are trendy. They have a bunch of high-waisted ones that are so retro-looking. However, the bathing suit sale will not last for long. Every few days, they change up their sale, so sign up for their emails to be the first to know about the sales.

SHEIN

15% off for all students! Shein’s sales change every day, but they aren’t to be missed. Every week, at least once, they give free shipping on orders $9.98 and above. In general, this online store is SUPER cheap for some trendy clothes. The bathing suits are so cute and are $15 for both the top and bottoms. The only downfall to this site is it takes three weeks for your clothes to come because they are located internationally. The clothing’s material is not the best, but I order from here all the time, and they provide me with the cutest going-out tops. I always get compliments on my clothes from here.

Princess Polly

30-70% off the sale items! They add products to the sale page every few days, so there are always new discounts that cannot be missed. They also have a 10% student discount for college students. Princess Polly has a lot of casual dresses that are super trendy. I like their two-piece sets. They are perfect to wear out for a night with friends or on an occasional Saturday spent shopping in town. Princess Polly is also one of the more expensive sites of these five.

Pretty Little Things

50% off of EVERYTHING! This site has similar clothes to SHEIN, but so much more. They sell most of the basics, like that little blacktop you cannot seem to find anywhere. Pretty Little Things is a great place to shop for casual dresses, especially for a formal. It reminds me of a better Forever 21 store. Pretty Little Things also has a beauty section, which not many sites do, and it is worth checking out!

If you end up ordering from an online store, just be sure to use precautions when your package arrives. Open it with gloves on and throw away the trash. Try and wash the clothing right when you get it, and remember to wash your hands after! Your days lying in bed watching videos of the good old days is finally over. I plan on coming out of quarantine with a full-on glow-up.
