3 Winter Trends You Need to Know

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at CSU chapter.

Winter is here, meaning comfy clothes and warm drinks are seemingly everywhere in FoCo right now! From ice skating with the family to snuggling up with some hot cocoa, you should always be prepared to take photos with the people that mean the most to you this month! Keeping warm is a MUST this winter, but that doesn’t mean you have to risk looking good for an old, oversized Christmas sweater. Here are three of the hottest trends that will keep you comfy and cozy all season long!

Fur boots have been around forever, but the newest trend on our favorite winter shoe has turned comfy into cute! Knee high boots amplify any simple outfit, with its tight fit and complimenting heel making it a game-changer this year. These shoes are for every occasion and can be worn with your favorite pair of jeans or new holiday dress.

3. Turtlenecks

From dresses to sweaters, turtlenecks have gained popularity over the year in winter fashion trends. Not only does it add a totally cute detail to your sweaters, but it gives you that extra layer of warmth (no need for scarves!). This neckline makes any outfit a little bit more interesting without all the effort of layering up!
