Marvelous May Movies

1. Hot Pursuit

Reese Witherspoon dazzles as an uptight, by-the-book cop who is tasked with protecting the spastic widow of a drug boss, Sofia Vergara. This unlikely duo must race through Texas, under the threat of crooked cops and murderous foes. 

 

2. 5 Flights Up

Morgan Freeman and Diane Keaton team-up to endeer as a long-time married couple who’ve spent their lives together in the same New York apartment, until they are overwhelmed by personal and real-estate problems and fored to move elsewhere.

 

3. Maggie

When a teenage girl in the Midwest becomes infected by a disease that slowly turns its victims into cannibalistic zombies, her doting father (Arnold Schwarznegger) remains by her side during her harrowing transformation.

 

4. Pitch Perfect 2

After a humiliating flop at Lincoln Center, the Barden Bellas enter a prestigious competition to regain their status and spot in the limelight. 

 

5. Tomorrowland

Bound by a shared destiny, a scientifically curious teen and a genius inventor embark on an action-packed mission to unearth the nook in place and time that beholds their collective memory.

 

6. San Andreas

After a disasterous earthquake strikes California, a recue-chopper pilot journeys across the state to rescue his daughter in this dramatic, heart-wrenching narrative.

I am a sophomore Communication major at Cornell University, with minors in Creative Writing and Law & Society. I was born and raised in California and, besides writing, I have interests in 4-H, law and film production. At Cornell, I serve on the Literature Review, am an avid member of Film Society, work as a Cornell Ambassador and participate in AWC (American Women in Communication).
