Did you know that going to Holi is on the 161 List? This Saturday, Holi 2012 took place on the Arts Quad. Holi is the Hindu festival of colours. During the festival in India, children and adults alike throw rang, a coloured powder at people. It gets on their clothes so by the end, everyone looks very colourful.

At Cornell’s Holi celebration, we had rang, samosas, and henna. I don’t know how many people I threw powder at, but I know that by the end of the day, I looked like a very bright patchwork quilt.
